Greek Goddess Hemera Cover
HEMERA is the Greek Goddess of the day. Her mother is given as either Khaos or Nyx, and she is the sister-wife of Aither, God of light. Hemera shares a house with Nyx; they pass each other at sunrise and sunset. She is the mother of Thalassa, Goddess of the sea. Hemera does not appear in many myths, and her role as Goddess of the day was eventually supplanted by Eos, Goddess of the dawn. Her name means "day."
