AGLAIA (pronounced ah-GLAY-ah) is the Greek Goddess of gracefulness and charm, one of the three Kharites or Graces. She and her sisters, Euphrosyne and Thalia, are daughters of Zeus and the Okeanid Eurynome. Aglaia, who is the youngest of the sisters, rules specifically over beauty. The Kharites were attendants of Aphrodite, Goddess of beauty and passion. Aglaia's name means "splendor" or "shining one," and is also seen as AGLAEA.
