Ninazu in Sumerian mythology was a god of the underworld, and of healing. He was the son of Enlil and Ninlil or, in alternative traditions, of Ereshkigal and Gugalana, and was the father of Ningiszida. In the text Enki and Ninhursag he was described as the consort of Ninsutu, one of the deities born to relieve the illness of Enki. Ninazu was the patron deity of the city of Eshnunna until he was superseded by Tispak. He had sanctuaries were the E-sikul and E-kurma. Unlike his close relative Nergal, he was generally benevolent.

 FRIGG is the Norse Goddess of the sky, marriage, motherhood, love, fertility, and the domestic arts. She and Freyja are the two most important Goddesses in the Norse pantheon, with Frigg as head of the AEsir (mostly warrior Gods) and Freyja as head of the Vanir (mostly fertility Gods). Frigg is married to Odin, God of wisdom and war, and her myths mainly pertain to her role as wife and mother. She is the patron Goddess of spinners and weavers, and she spins the clouds in the sky.

Frigg is attended by twelve handmaidens: Eir, Fulla, Gefjon, Gn'a, Hl'i-n, Lofn, Saga, Sj"ofn, Snotra, Syn, V'ar, and V"or. Her name means "beloved one", and is also seen as FRIA, FRIG, FRIGA, FRIGE, FRIGGA, FRIGGJA, FRIKA, and FRICKA.

"LEDA" WAS THE QUEEN OF SPARTA AND THE WIFE OF KING TYNDAREUS. ONE DAY, ZEUS SAW HER BATHING IN THE RIVER AND WAS INSTANTLY FILLED WITH LUST FOR THE BEAUTIFUL MORTAL WOMAN...WHO WAS ALREADY CARRYING HER HUSBAND'S CHILD.....AND SHE WAS KNOWN TO BE INCREDIBLY FAITHFUL TO HIM.. SO, ZEUS WENT TO APHRODITE AND ASKED HER TO HELP HIM DEVISE A TRICK; HE TURNED HIMSELF INTO A SWAN, AND APHRODITE TURNED HERSELF INTO AN EAGLE. TOGETHER THEY SOARED HIGH ACROSS THE SKY...LIKE THE HUNTER AND THE HUNTED. SUDDENLY, ZEUS SWOOPED DOWN NEAR LEDA AS IF HE HAD BEEN ATTACKED BY THE EAGLE. LEDA, PITYING THE INJURED SWAN, TOOK IT ON TO HER LAP AND BEGAN TO STROKE IT. AND, AS SOON AS ZEUS KNEW SHE WAS HAPPY, HE HAD SEX WITH HER, THEN FLEW OFF AND DISAPPEARED.

SUBSEQUENTLY, LEDA GAVE BIRTH TO SWAN EGGS. OUT OF ONE HATCHED CLYTEMNESTRA AND HELEN AND OUT OF THE OTHER CASTOR AND POLLUX, WHO ARE KNOWN AS "GEMINI", THE TWINS.....AND NO ONE KNEW WHO THE FATHER OF WHICH CHILDREN, AND THEREFORE, NO ONE REALLY KNEW WHICH OF THE CHILDREN WAS MORTAL AND WHICH WAS IMMORTAL. BUT, THROUGH THEIR GREAT LOVE FOR EACH OTHER, THEY LATER BECAME KNOWN AS THE 'IMMORTAL MORTALS'. LATER, WHEN LEDA DIED, SHE WAS TAKEN UP TO HEAVEN AND MERGED WITH NEMESIS, THE GODDESS OF RETRIBUTION.
