SO, ZEUS CAME TO HER ARMED IN HIS THUNDER AND LIGHTNING, AND SEMELE WAS CONSUMED BY HIS FIERY APPEARANCE. HOWEVER, BEFORE SHE DIED, ZEUS RESCUED THE UNBORN DIONYSUS FROM HER ASHES AND SEWED IT IN HIS THIGH GAVE BIRTH TO DIONYSUS HIMSELF.
