JULUNGGUL is the Aboriginal Goddess of rain, water, and initiation. She is the great Rainbow Snake of the Dreamtime, which preceded the coming of man. Sometimes seen as male, sometimes as female, Julunggul created all the rivers of the land, and then went to live in the bottom of a deep waterhole. One day, the Wawalag sisters came to camp by her waterhole, and one of them accidentally dripped some menstrual blood in the water. Julunggul reared up out of the deeps, and water fell from her body as rain. She swallowed the sisters, but later spit them back out.
Julunggul is invoked in the initiation of boys into manhood. She is asked to swallow them as children and then spit them back out as men. Snakes have long been associated with rebirths like this since they shed their skin, like shedding a past life and starting anew. Julunggul's name is also seen as YURLUNGGUR, UNGUR, WONUNGUR, GALERU, WOROMBI, LANGAL, and MUIT.

Once upon a time there was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu,King Satyavrata.He is a very great and vigorous devotee of Lord Vishnu.He used to perform all the vedic rituals and customs,and has done tapas.Once during his sandyavandanam,when he was at the river,a fish was into the hand of King Satyavrata.The fish was asking the king to save it from the larger fishes which r in the river.So the king took it in his kamandala,when he returned to his kingdom,the fish enlarged itself,asking the king to provide a more spacious one.So it began enlarging itself as big as an ocean,so the king has recognised that itself is the very great Lord,and prayed.So the Lord Matsya,has saved King Satyavrata for his great devotion from the flood which is going to destroy whole universe.King Satyavrata protected the seeds of all creatures on a boat for the next age,on the boat from the flood.
Lord Matsya, at a manvantara has saved vedas from a Demon and restored vedas to Lord Brahma.

WHEN NZAMBI ARRIVES, SHE FINDS HIM STRUTTING ARROGANTLY, MOVING SIDEWAYS INSTEAD OF FORWARDS SO AS TO SHOW OFF ALL OF HIS EXTRA LEGS. SHE BECOMES SO DISGUSTED WITH HIS ARROGANCE AND PRIDE, THAT SHE INFORMS HIM THAT SHE WILL NOT BE GIVING HIM A HEAD AFTER ALL; INSTEAD, SHE SENTENCES HIM TO SCUTTLE SIDEWAYS FOREVER. CRAB IS SO HUMILIATED THAT HE HIDES UNDER A ROCK...WHICH HAS WHAT HE HAS DONE EVER SINCE.
